Welcome!

Hello Everyone! My name is Mike Kauffmann and I am the tour manager for The Dream Teens - Achieving a Dream. As posted in each of the kids previous blogs, we will be opening a website. That website is well underway but will yet take some time so we can get everything up just the way we want. Due to everyone's schedule for the rest of the tour we have a new cast: Kyle, Dina, Frankie, Juliana, Max, and Makki. We are so happy to have them all together! OK, I have been getting many emails about when the kids were allowed to start posting again, since the site is not anywhere near done we have made this the temporary site. Here each of the kids will post just as it was their blog. I will also be giving updates on the kids from my perspective for the parents and the kids for all of their young fans. Please email any of your questions to me and I will forward to them to the right person. I'm going to start by a quick bio of each of the 'teens' then a quick update on them right now:

Kyle: Kyle has been in the business since he was 5 years old. He started off by modeling for Children's Place, Land's End, James and Julie, and many other places. He was always a gifted child loving to do so many things, especially act. Since then he as appeared and guest starred on many shows such as According to Jim, Wildfire, Suite Life of Zack & Cody, and many many more. Now he with us on tour! BTS (behind the scenes): Everyone has a little joke that he has a MASSIVE crush on Dina, they are so cute together! Kyle currently lives in New York, New York and he is toutered by an OOY teacher. He is 14 years old.

Dina: Dina started of as a child model at the fresh age of 2 1/2. She was always and energetic one wanting to show of her talents. She modeled for many leading clothing companies back in that time. Talking and shopping is this girls life, as it was even back then. Dina has worked with some of the best coaches for talent in the business. When she was just 5 she had to decide-school or working on talent. She picked school but never forgot her true passion to entertain. Getting back into the swing of things Dina is on the road with us, being our only one attending normal school we try to have our schedule revolve around hers. Dina currently lives in Northeast, Ohio. She is 13.

Frankie: Frankie is a very talented singer and actor. Frankie started acting when he was 7 but has always loved to sing. He has been in several movies including Spy Kids, Shark boy and Lava Girl, Step Up, and the next movie coming out soon is The Secret Life of Bees. Frankie has never recorded professionally but he does play guitar and the drums and writes his own music. Frankie currently is working in North Carolina. He is also toutered by a OOY teacher. Frankie is 14.

Juliana: Nicknamed Juli was a model from the start. She has modeled since she could sit up. Modeling for big names such as Johnson&Johnson, Gymboree, Nordstrom, JC Penny, Lizzy D, Barbie, Bratz, Kiddy Me, Limited Too, Abercrombie, etc. She has never stopped modeling you can now see her on Barbie commercials on Nick. Juliana's favorite thing to do is shop (all these girls with us do!). She is also toutored but this time by a PTS teacher. She currently resides in Pasadena, CA. Juli is 13.

Max: Max is brand new to this business. He has always dreamed of becoming an actor and spokesperson. He has tried for many years to get to where he is now-perhaps more work than any of these kids. Max is an amazing skateboarder who has been an extra in a couple of shows and movies for his first year. Right now Max is on tour with us but also auditioning for many roles in movies and shows. He currently lives in Austin, TX. Max attends an acting academy which alows time off for traveling and working. He is 14 years old.

Mackenzie: Who everyone calls Makki, is an energetic 14 year old. Makki used to live in Ohio and model with Dina when they were young, they used to be tight pals. Makki started modeling when she was 2. Modeling for many different companies, most of them the same as Dina. Makki is mostly known for her cover of Limited Too of the 2007 Winter catazine. You can never tell who she is due to her hair changing colors so often! She is now on tour with us and spending a lot of her off time in Rochester, NY with family. Makki is 14.

That's the bunch! They are all full of energy and so sweet! It's quite a job to take them on but I'm in for it! Right this second the kids are actually backstage at the High School Musical on Ice. They all have a duty to each post once a week at 6 pm. I will be adding all the time.

Oh and for me, just call me Pyro like Dina made up!
